Jingda graduated from Wake Forest University with a master’s degree in communication. She conducted research on how hurtful events influence the way people communicate with their partners, and built regression models to identify behavioral patterns. During her internship as a marketing analyst at MullenLowe, she conducted consumer analytics, web analytics and digital campaign optimization.
A big fan of statistics and storytelling, Jingda combined her two passions during her research projects on wellbeing, communication behavior, and health. She used various statistical tests to look into relations, patterns, and differences of individuals and their behavior, and knitted her findings into stories that non-statistically minded people can understand.
Jingda firmly believes in using data to obtain insights and make informed decisions. At Krannert, she is actively learning analytical tools and statistical methods to do just that. In the future, Jingda would like to solve problems in healthcare analytics and customer analytics, where she can use numbers to tell a compelling story. She craves for learning and is highly energized--when not playing with data, she enjoys reading and biking.
