Economics

Seminars

The Economics Department, located within the Krannert School of Management, offers seminar series in the areas of Economic Theory, Applied Economics, and Macroeconomics/International.  Typically the department hosts more than 30 distinguished external speakers each academic year.  In addition, there are internal seminars where current Purdue faculty and graduate students present their latest research. There are also seminars of interest to economists hosted by the faculty in Krannert's Management Department in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Strategic Management, Operations, and Management Information Systems.  During each semester after their first year in residence, PhD students actively participate in the seminars.
