"I am currently a PhD candidate in marketing at Krannert School of Management. I choose the marketing program in Krannert because it offers an intensive quantitative marketing program which matches my needs best. I find quantitative marketing research is fascinating because it is a great combination of social science and engineering. We can investigate interesting phenomena in consumer world by building up mathematical models and using statistic technology.
The marketing program in Krannert has a long history and renowned since Prof. Bass. It helps its students build up solid background in quantitative marketing research area. During the first two years of our study, the school designs a series coursework of economics and statistics. Besides, we will learn the state-of-art research methodology in marketing research through seminars offered our own department."
