Marketing Undergraduate Major
Marketing is a challenging field of study which, to an undergraduate major, offers a variety of exciting career opportunities. Marketing careers can range from brand management to marketing research and analytics to public relations.
The undergraduate marketing curriculum at Purdue has been revised to include new courses in Digital and Social Media Marketing, Experiential Marketing, and Marketing Analytics.
Marketing Majors are offered the opportunity to work in small groups on a marketing consulting project during the fall and spring semesters.
Marketing Majors are also offered the opportunity to undertake a global study trip to understand the unique challenges of doing business in a foreign market. Last summer some students participated in a marketing field study in Northern Thailand while some other students participated in a global study trip to the Burgundy region of France.
