Accounting Doctoral Program
The goal of the Accounting Doctoral Program is to provide rigorous, cutting-edge training in research and teaching so that our doctoral students can prepare themselves for a successful academic career. Students in our program generally specialize in empirical (archival) or analytical (theoretical/mathematical modeling) research and are expected to arrive with a working knowledge of calculus. General guidelines for Krannert's Ph.D. programs are contained in the Krannert Graduate School of Management Ph. D. Program Requirements. Specific details about requirements and procedures for the Accounting Doctoral Program are available in the Accounting Doctoral Program Requirements.
We encourage you to read both documents and contact our Accounting Doctoral Program Director, Professor Susan G. Watts if you have any questions. Her email address is swatts@purdue.edu.
