Economics Workshops/Conferences/Resources
The Economics Department has active workshops in the areas of Economic Theory, Applied Economics, and Macro/International. Each semester, the workshops schedule a variety of presentations from economists at other institutions as well as Purdue faculty and graduate students. An average of 35 distinguished external speakers per year, as well as faculty members and students, give seminars in the three departmental workshop series. In addition, there are often workshops of interest to economists scheduled by Finance, Accounting, Strategic Management, and other areas of the Krannert School of Management. During each semester after the first year in residence, students participate in workshops and seminars.
