Goals:
To introduce different phases of managing projects from conception to termination with particular emphasis on planning, scheduling, resource allocation, monitoring and control. To provide working knowledge of a project management software.
Features:
Besides the topics listed above, this introductory course will cover other topics such as risk management, conflicts in managing projects and projects in international setting.
The students will work in teams
- to demonstrate use of project planning tools and methodology.
- on paper-pencil and computer based exercises
- to analyze cases in project management
