| Applicants are invited for tenure track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Quantitative Methods area to begin in Fall, 2002. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or be Ph.D. candidates close to completion in Management Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or a closely related field, and demonstrate research excellence and evidence of teaching potential in MBA, doctoral, and undergraduate courses.
Area of specialization is open, but particular consideration will be given to candidates with research interests in both theory and applications of stochastic processes, data mining, simulation, and optimization. The successful candidate will complement and extend the area’s well-established fields in manufacturing, quality control/management, decision analysis, and optimization, and current research initiatives in e-learning, e-commerce, data mining, and supply chain management. The candidate will have ample opportunities in collaborating with faculty in the highly ranked management and engineering schools.
