Karan Ahuja
Senior Business Analyst

Karan works as a Senior Business Analyst at LinkedIn at their headquarters in Mountain View, California. He is in charge of driving top and bottom line impact for LinkedIn's Premium Subscription business line (~$200M in revenue in 2012; 20% of LinkedIn’s overall revenue) through objective analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives. Additionally, he serves as a liaison between leadership and teams across Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Business Development, and Corporate Development. His role gives him the unique opportunity to leverage LinkedIn’s big data assets to drive informed, data driven decision-making.

Prior to LinkedIn, Karan worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company in Boston. As a consultant, Karan worked on several strategy engagements with Fortune 200 clients and major government agencies. His position at McKinsey gave him the opportunity to network with numerous senior executives and further develop his business analysis/development skills.

Outside of work, Karan serves as the Chief Strategy & Technology Officer for Global Impact Collective (GIC). GIC is a registered nonprofit organization that he co-founded with 5 other Purdue alumni in late 2011. Still in its infancy, the organization has already made significant contributions to helping other nonprofit organizations in multiple countries including the United States, Haiti, and India. Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Management (Dual Degree), Purdue University, 2011.

Other interests: Traveling, soccer, cricket, biking, running, and watching college football and basketball.
