Anya Samak is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research focuses on using the methodology of experimental economics to understand decision-making under uncertainty, health-related behavior, and philanthropic giving. She has received several grants for her work, including grants from the National Science Foundation, the Social Security Administration, and the Templeton Foundation.

Ms. Samak received a bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctorate in Economics from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
