Dean's Advisory Council Mission
The Krannert Dean's Advisory Council (DAC) provides advice, counsel, and assistance to the leadership of the Krannert School at Purdue University. Through their involvement, DAC members (see list of members below) seek to improve the quality of teaching research, and services provided by the Krannert School.Responsibilities of Council Members
- Advise and counsel the dean and other Krannert administrators about strategic issues facing the School, including key opportunities and trends.
- Help promote the overall reputation of Krannert.
- Provide a bridge between industry/business and the Krannert School.
- Serve on task forces and committees as needed to address strategic and tactical issues.
- Solicit and monitor feedback from Krannert students, alumni, recruiters, and other key stakeholders about Krannert
- Help solicit funds for Krannert and provide financial assistance to Krannert through corporate and/or personal means.
- Assist the dean in developing and implementing the DAC's mission and duties.
- Participate in DAC meetings and social events whenever possible.
