Bob Lazard has been a partner with Crowe Horwath (formerly Crowe Chizek and Company) since 1987. After having a broad array of practice experience in audit and tax in several industries, he began the government practice in 1990 based from the Indianapolis office. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing the delivery of accounting and consulting services for higher education, not-for-profit, and governmental entities.
He has been with Crowe Horwath his entire career. Over the course of his career, he has held numerous leadership roles in executive, business unit, and service delivery management, and has served on firmwide committees and task forces.
Mr. Lazard earned a bachelor's degree in management from Purdue University. He holds CPA license and is active in the AICPA's Federal Legislative Task Force and the Indiana State Steering Committee.
Mr. Lazard has served on many boards and committees throughout his career, including eight years on the Indiana State Board of Education, seven years on the National Association of State Boards of Education, of which he is a past president, and the United Way's Success by 6. Bob served on the Krannert School Alumni Association Board for eight years under Dean Weidenaar.
