Additional International Business Academic Programs The Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at Purdue's Krannert School of Management develops and encourages participation in international minors and concentrations at the Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. levels. In addition, the center collaborates in the development of business language courses as well as K-12 teacher training and curriculum development.

Society of International Managers The mission of the Society of International Managers (SIM) is to develop global thinking and an understanding of international business among Krannert students. Information about this student organization and its activities can be found at the following web site: http://www.krannert.purdue.edu/clubs/sim/ Programs for K-12 Teachers The Indiana Council for Economic Education (ICEE), a state-wide, non-profit educational organization dedicated to increasing economic literacy in Indiana, is the primary source for teacher training, educational materials and curriculum reform in economics for the state's schools. The ICEE and CIBER work together to develop programs and materials in international trade and commerce. The administrative offices of the ICEE are located on the campus of Purdue University. Workshops on International Economics: CIBER at Purdue provides financial support for workshops in theory and practice of international trade and economic development. Elementary and secondary teachers may receive academic credit for some of these programs. For further information about ICEE workshops, please visit their website. Community College Program The International Business Institute for Community College Faculty is held in alternate years on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and is co-sponsored by the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators, Michigan State University and ten CIBERs (Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, Texas A&M, UCLA and the Universities of Illinois, Memphis, Pittsburgh, Southern California, and Wisconsin.) The institute is designed to assist community college faculty to internationalize their existing courses or to develop new, specialized courses in international business. Speakers include both educators and seasoned veterans in international business.
