The Daniels School's Vargas BOP Scholarship honors Dominic Vargas, a business school student and BOP participant who passed away unexpectedly in April 2018.

Vargas, who served as president of the school's Society for Minority Managers student group, was on track to graduate in spring 2019. The school awarded him a posthumous Bachelor of Science degree in management.

"Dominic Vargas was an optimistic, fun-loving, great guy," says BOP Director Darren Henry. "If someone was in need, Dom was there. He was always willing to volunteer his time to help people."

The Dominic C. Vargas BOP Scholarship has been established his memory.
