Educational Opportunities
Krannert Graduate School of Management offers a sound return on your investment in an advanced degree. Krannert programs offer the choices you need to customize your business career. Our programs allow you to gain a wealth of knowledge, a competitive edge, and a welcome increase in expected compensation.
Master of Business Administration (MBA): a two-year program of core courses and a specialized option in a particular area of study. Options include accounting, finance, human resource management, management information systems, marketing, operations management, strategic management, and three interdisciplinary options: general management, international management, and manufacturing management.
Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM): a two-year program that trains you to adapt to the needs of contemporary organizations and expand your horizons beyond those of the typical human resource manager. The plan of study integrates three components: human resources, a strong emphasis on management, and a distinctive analytical orientation.
Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MSIA): an 11-month program consisting of largely the same set of core courses as the MBA program. It provides a solid, general management foundation and allows you to select four electives to complement your core courses.
Doctoral Programs (PhD): three doctorates are offered at Krannert: in management, in economics, and in organizational behavior and human resource management. You may choose from various concentrations and areas of specialization. For students entering with an undergraduate degree, completion of the PhD program usually takes four years.
Career Opportunities

Additional support is available through services you provide to the University in the form of teaching assistantships, Business Opportunity Program (BOP) assistantships, and University residence hall counsellorships.
Teaching assistants are involved in classroom teaching or grading of undergraduate homework and exams under the supervision of a Krannert faculty member. Assistantships allow an exemption of tuition and all fees except $282 per semester and include a stipend of $4,600 per academic year
BOP assistants provide academic and social counseling to undergraduate students. Assistantships provide a $4,600 stipend plus remission of all but $282 in tuition and fees per semester.
