EMPIRICAL INVESTIGATIONS IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE (EIIT) CONFERENCE
Every fall, the Purdue Center for International Business Education and Research organizes the Empirical Investigations In International Trade conference in partnership with the Forum for Research in Empirical International Trade. Led by Professor of Economics Dr. David Hummels, this annual conference assembles economists specializing in empirical international trade to present their current research. The conference brings together researchers of similar interests to promote increased communication of ideas for future research directions and to promote the awareness of ongoing empirical research in international trade. Conferences include researchers at many different stages in their careers. The atmosphere is informal and lively, characterized by significant audience participation.
