ABOUT CIBER
The Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) program was created by the United States Congress under the Omnibus Trade and Competitiveness Act of 1988 in order to increase and promote America's capacity for international understanding and economic competitiveness. It is administered by the U.S. Department of Education under Title VI, Part B of the Higher Education Act of 1965 through a competitive selection process. The program provides funding to schools of business for curriculum development, research, and training on issues of importance to U.S. trade and competitiveness. Currently, there are 33 CIBERs located at major universities throughout the United States. More information about the national CIBER network is available on the CIBERWeb.
