Alex Zelikovsky

Partner & COO, Baker Street Solutions, LLC.

Alex is a result-oriented and customer-focused executive with demonstrated record of P&L success in the U.S., European and Emerging Markets. He possesses solid background in General Management, Operations, Finance and Customer Service.

Presently, Alex is a Partner & COO of Baker Street Solutions “(BSS”), a consumer insights & product innovations company. BSS has developed a proprietary methodology, called ‘The Right to Succeed™’ to help companies create, manufacture and bring to market superior (consumer preferred) products and services. To do so, BSS has forged global alliances with top tier, multinational R&D and manufacturing companies.

From 1999 to 2004, Alex served an Executive Vice President and COO of Reflect.com, LLC (a Procter & Gamble company). He was Instrumental in leading the multi-channel strategic development of Reflect business (on-line, retail and catalog). Alex successfully leveraged company Operations into a competitive, highly efficient profit center – positioning Reflect to compete and scale effectively in different channels, while delivering an outstanding consumer experience. Alex’s other notable accomplishment at Reflect, is that he designed and built the only mass-customized supply chain in the beauty care industry (products don’t exist until the consumer creates them). He delivered an innovative and agile operational approach and built an award winning Customer Service infrastructure.

Additionally in 2000 and 2001, Alex served as an Adjunct Professor at the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, teaching a graduate course in e-Commerce Logistics.

Before joining Reflect.com (a Procter & Gamble company), Alex served as Director of Logistics and Administration at Amazon.com. Alex was the architect of Amazon.com’s distribution network strategy. He was responsible for spearheading the design and build-out of Amazon’s unique, highly efficient and automated distribution network, consisting of 7 distribution centers in the US, Germany and UK, with over 4 million sq/ft of space, capable of processing over 1.5 million unique shipments per day.

Prior to that, Alex served as CEO of ASCOP Corporation, a $250MM+ annual revenue business, where he managed more than 500+ employees and led a complex business infrastructure, spanning across US, emerging markets of Eastern and Central Europe, and Central Asia. He rebuilt the company’s global distribution network, restructured company debt and refocused the organization on core elements of business.

He also worked as a regional manager at RJR Nabisco Inc, spending majority of his time acquiring and building businesses in Eastern/Central Europe and Near East Asia. Alex started his professional career in Corporate Finance at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company.

Alex holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Brooklyn College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
