Graduate Assistants

Rho Cauley

Rho Cauley

MBA 2009

Rho Cauley is concentrating her studies at Krannert in the areas of Operations and Finance, and is currently seeking a full-time position. Rho graduated from Purdue University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. After graduation Rho went to work for Northrop Grumman’s Unmanned Systems Division in San Diego, California where she was a part of the Global Hawk Program. Rho has  held a  number of  positions with  Northrop  Grumman  including engineer, project manager, and integration program manager. Rho has been honored by the San Fernando Valley Engineer’s Council four times for her work on successful teams.

Outside of the classroom Rho participates in the National Association of Women MBA’s as Vice President of Communications.

 

Roman Kita

Roman Kita

MBA 2009

Roman Kita is concentrating his Supply Chain, Operations and studies at Krannert in the areas of Information  Technology.Roman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Univerity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After completing the program in 2000, Roman worked as a Business Analyst at Vesuvius Group, a manufacturer of refractory ceram cs, in Brussels, Belgium. Roman spent the majority of his professional career implementing an ERP software solution for Vesuvius. He was a part of an international team which successfully launched the software in over fifteen locations in six countries. Over the summer, Roman worked as Materials Interns at Boston Scientific Corporation, where he analyzed incoming material flow and recommended a number of solutions to improve process efficiency and quality. Outside of professional experience and academics, Roman has served in Chicago’s Polish community helping recent immigrants during their acclimation process.

 

Lukas Morawski

Lukas has concentrated his studies at Krannert in the function areas of Operations and Finance. This past summer, Lukas was able to apply what he has learned in the classroom during his internship at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. Working in the Precision Components group on several projects, he was primarily focused on gear capacity planning, running and analyzing the impact of sourcing and capital planning decisions on the business. Prior to starting at Krannert, Lukas was working for American Axle and Manufacturing (AAM) in Michigan. He initially worked as a Project Engineer in one of AAM's forging facilities, and then as a Production Supervisor at one of AAM's component and assembly plants. Lukas is excited to be returning to Sikorsky full-time in the summer, joining their MBA Leadership Development Program.

 

Ryan McCombs

Ryan graduated from Purdue University in 2006, with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology. Since graduating, Ryan has flown as a First Officer on the De Havilland Dash 8 for Piedmont Airlines (a wholly-owned subsidiary of US Airways) and the Embraer 145 for Chautauqua Airlines (a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings). 

Ryan is concentrating in Operations and Global Supply Chain Management while attending Krannert.

  

Alan Siu

Alan Siu

MBA Class 2010

Alan graduated from UC Berkeley (University of California at Berkeley) in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies Field. Since graduation, he has worked in operations and supply chain management in a variety of industries such as IT, E-Commerce, 3PL, Software (Gaming), and Biotech. Before arriving at Purdue, Alan worked at 23andMe, a web based Personal Genome Service located in Mountain View, CA. Alan worked in the operations team, where he played an integral role in establishing systems for the order fulfillment process and customer facing features.

Outside of work, Alan is an accomplished tennis player. While a student at UC Berkeley, he won the tennis intramurals.

Currently, Alan is pursuing his MBA with concentrations in Operations/Supply chain and Management Information Systems.

 

Mark Wolfred

Mark Wolfred

MBA 2010

Mark graduated from Purdue in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. After graduation, he worked in the material handling industry where he designed, project managed, and supervised the installation of large conveyor systems. As an undergrad intern, Mark also worked in the defense industry.

Presently, Mark is pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Operations Management.

 

Preston Lehman

Preston received a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management from Purdue University in 2005. After graduating he joined Hormel Foods as a Production Supervisor. Preston worked for Hormel Foods at their Austin Plant in Minnesota for 3 years before returning to Purdue to pursue a Masters in Business Administration. He is concentrating his graduate studies at Krannert in Supply Chain Management. This summer Preston will be interning at Cummins in Columbus, Indiana. He will be working on projects to reduce the energy consumption at Cummins’ manufacturing facilities.
