Scott Brown

Katz, Sapper & Miller, LLP

Scott Brown is a partner with Katz, Sapper & Miller and has been with the firm since 1990, and in public accounting since 1987. Scott’s responsibilities include the planning, supervision and management of financial statement audits and reviews. He also advises clients in a wide variety of accounting, compliance and internal control matters. Scott provides various consulting services including those related to mergers and acquisitions and estate and succession planning. He works with clients in a variety of industries and has special expertise and education relating to real estate, nonprofits and manufacturing. He is the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Manufacturing, Wholesale and Distribution Services Group.

Scott graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Ball State University in 1987, and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Indiana Manufacturers Association. Scott also engages in significant outreach efforts, including serving on the Executive Committee of the Hamilton County United Way, the J.T.’s Hand Foundation, and on the Advisory Board of Ball State University's Accounting Department.
