Senior Vice President - Supply Management

Terex Corporation

Timothy R. Fiore, C.P.M., Senior Vice President, Supply Management at Terex Corporation is responsible for establishing a company wide supply management and strategic sourcing process. Using a central category management and leadership team, Tim’s group leverages the spend across 48 global manufacturing sites of Terex to more effectively manage Terex’s $7.3B of direct and indirect spend. Terex is a global designer and manufacturer of construction, material handling, mining and material processing equipment.

Tim joined Terex from Celanese Corporation, a Dallas based $6.3-billion hybrid chemical company, where he was Senior Vice President of Supply Management. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Supply Management, Chief Procurement Officer and President, Ryder Energy Distribution Company, a unit of Ryder System, Inc.

Prior to joining Ryder, Tim was employed for 23 years by United Technologies Corporation companies in a series of procurement and supply chain management capacities. His UTC experience includes plant, divisional and corporate roles in the United States and Europe. Tim was on the team that led the centralization of that company’s procurement activities which resulted in the award of the Medal of Professional Excellence by Purchasing Magazine.

Tim holds both an MBA and a Master of Science in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Massachusetts. Tim is also a Trustee for the Center for Advanced Purchasing Studies (CAPS), a member of the Conference Boards Supply Chain Leadership Council and a member of Howard Universities Supply Chain Program Board of Visitors. In Europe, Tim is a member of the Corporate Sponsor Board for the European Business School’s Supply Management Institute. Tim has also been a member of the ISM’s J Shipman Award Committee for the prior four years.
