Chuck Clowdis has nearly three decades of experience in the transportation, logistics, and supply chain arena. He has held Executive Positions with motor carrier groups such as TNT USA, Inc., Sun (Oil) Carrier Group, and Transcon Lines. His responsibilities included operations sales & marketing, pricing & research, and acquisition due diligence.

He formed his own consultancy in 1988 and also acted as Executive Consultant to Ernst & Young LLP's National Transportation Practice, CSC, KPMG, Gap Gemini, INDEX Consulting and others. He also worked with major clients like Time, Inc., Kimball International, R.R. Donnelly, and more Fortune 500 companies.

Active in the American Trucking Associations' Sales & Marketing Council, where he served in several executive positions including President and Board Chairman, he authored two books and contributed to several others on motor carrier quality service, Negotiating skills, and sales & marketing topics. He has authored and published over one hundred articles and white papers on industry topics.

In 2008 he joined Global Insight (USA) Inc. as managing Director - North America in their Global trade and transportation Advisory Services practice where he directs the publication of research projects like TRANSEARCH Insight, The U.S. Inland Traded Monitor and others.

Clowdis holds degrees from Young Harris College and The University of Georgia.
