Emmanuel Kodzi, Jr.

Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Ashesi University, GhanaKodzi Emmanuel

Dr. Emmanuel Kodzi Jr. is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Ashesi University, Ghana. His career has involved a combination of managerial and technical experience in the wood products industry, and teaching and research in academic institutions. Through these diverse experiences he has maintained a focus on manufacturing competitiveness and, more recently, how it interfaces with supply chain management. After 8 years of working in industry, he moved into academia where he has taught Contemporary Manufacturing Concepts, Operations Management, and New Product Development. He has published in peer-reviewed journals on process strategy, manufacturing competitiveness, and instructional effectiveness and presented in several conferences. His current research interests include logistics systems in emerging economies, and the interface between supply chain responsiveness and new product development.
