Student Focused Activites within our Conferences
Student Poster Competition
The student internship poster competition is a key student activity held within the annual fall operations conference. The competition was created to benefit both industry visitors as well as students by accomplishing three primary objectives:
2. Provide an opportunity for graduate students to promote their talents and market themselves by visiting with industry and explaining their work experience. 3. Expose undergraduate and 1st-year MBA students to the variety of companies and employment opportunities they might encounter when searching for internship employment themselves. |
Student Case Competition
![]() |
The MBA Case competition is a key student activity held within the annual spring global supply chain manangement conference. Free and open to every MBA program around the globe, teams of 4 students compete for the prestige and monetary awards associated with this annual competition which has grown in popularity each year. The first round of the competition occurs through an e-submission of a Power Point case solution. The top six teams (as judged by Krannert faculty) advance to the second round which includes an invitation to compete for top 3 awards at the conference. Each year, the first round case is based roughly on the theme of the conference; the second round "builds" on the first round case materials. |
