Services

The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) has two regional consultants in the area of economic education. The primary goal of the consultants is to help schools improve economics instruction in the K-12 curriculum. Their responsibilities include:

  1. Serving as field resource personnel.
  2. Providing workshops and inservice programs.
  3. Providing individual teacher consultation.
  4. Administering the Economic Education Grant Program.
  5. Serving as a liaison for schools with economic education
    organizations and other community resources.

The consultants are available for presentations at faculty/curriculum
meetings and inservice programs and are prepared to speak on a wide
range of economic education topics, including the following Indiana
Department of Education programs:
