STAMINA2+ is a case competition organized by Krannert's Leadership Communication Studio and sponsored by Crowe Horwath. This case event features 2.5 hours of prep time, business casual style attire, and opportunities to network with judges from Crowe Horwath. Students will prepare and present in teams of 2. This competition is open to full-time Freshmen and Sophomore students across campus, but each team must have at least 1 current Krannert student. Students will be given Crowe Horwath shirts to wear while presenting to the judges. Students will learn the role of the judges in the case packets.


Teams will receive the case packet at the community meeting on Thursday (March 22) prior to the competition. During the 2.5 hours of analysis time, teams will prepare 4-6 PowerPoint slides including a cover slide with team member's photos and majors. Slides will be submitted on Thursday evening per instructions at community meeting. On Friday (March 23) teams will present to a group of judges in the first round of the competition. Following the first round of team presentations, judges will choose 4 teams consisting of 2 students on each team, to advance to the final round of presentation (The Final 4). For the final round, each of the Final 4 teams will receive a prompt and present a response to the judges and peer audience. Judges will select the winning teams and recognize selected students from teams that did not make the final round at the awards program post the final round.

Team Requirements

For this event, students need to form their own teams of 2 students. STAMINA2+ is open to any Purdue student on campus who is currently a Freshman or Sophomore, but at least 1 member of the team must be a current Krannert student.

Application & Selection Process

Applications will close on March 21, 2018, at 11:59 p.m.

Applications will close on Wednesday, March 21. The responses to the survey provided will be used as the primary means of selection. Each team wishing to participate in STAMINA2+ needs to apply with his/her teammate via the Qualtrics link. Applicants will need to identify their teammate, as admission to the competition will depend on the combined strength of BOTH teammates' responses.

    L2L is designed to provide leading students from select universities and colleges, the opportunity to learn more about Crowe's core values, energizing culture, and our client services. While having fun and developing yourself professionally, you will network with Crowe professionals and engage in a variety of activities. Over the course of two days, programming may include team building exercises, leadership presentations, and/or professional business skill workshops.     Furthermore, by participating in L2L, you will also be evaluated and considered for future opportunities with Crowe including 2018 accounting internships as described below.

    Internship opportunities you will be considered for following Program:

    At Crowe, we believe that the primary function of an accounting internship is to familiarize students with public accounting through meaningful participation on a variety of engagements. As an Accounting Intern with Crowe, you will have the opportunity to work as a team member on diverse client engagements including manufacturing, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, and financial institution clients. Our team of professionals continually strives to achieve value for our clients, our people and our Firm while at the same time adding value to the profession and the public trust.

    As an Audit Accounting Intern your primary function will be: Audit, review, and compilation of financial statements, assistance in the preparation of financial statements and application of GAAP, assisting with clients with routine accounting functions, and assisting to maintain relationships with key client personnel.

    As a Tax Accounting Intern your primary function will be: to participate in the examination, review, and compilation of tax returns; conduct tax research, consult with owners and managers of various organizations, and assist with special reviews relating to acquisitions, mergers, and sale of businesses. Student requirements for applying/participating in the Leadership Program:

    • Current sophomore or Junior (graduating in December 2018 - May 2019 with your 150 hours and seeking a spring 2018 or summer 2018 internship)
    • Minimum 3.2 cumulative and major GPA, 3.4 GPA preferred
    • Pursuing Degree in Accounting
    • Permanent resident and/or U.S. Citizen
