Competition being held on: Friday - February 17 at Krannert

Sign up for the case competition that aims to solve today's most pressing social issues faced by our non-profit partner, Habit for Humanity.

Work in teams to make a positive impact, gain consulting experience and compete for great prizes.

Finalists present to Accenture senior leaders and non-profit executives and will also get the chance to potentially put their idea into practice. Our non-profit partner will also receive support to implement the winning team's solution.

    Round 1 Schedule
    Day-Of Timeline

    The full Round 1 day event takes about 8-9 hours total for students, longer for liaisons and coaches who need to be there before and after the event.
    Coaches Briefing 30-60 Mins Campus liaison to review Coaches training briefing pack with coaches to ensure consistency of engagement with teams
    Registration 15 Mins Participants arrive for registration.
    Kick-Off & Introduction 30 Mins Welcome students, review logistics of the day, show video from non-profit client, and introduce the Accenture team.
    Case Session 5 Hours REQUIRED 5 hours for teams to work on case solution from the time they first get the materials with their teams, to submission.
    Potential for working lunch (Provided by Accenture)
    Judges Briefing 30-60 Mins Campus liaison to review Judges training briefing pack with full panel of judges to ensure consistency and awareness of rules/processes.
    > To be conducted during case session
    Presentations & Judging 2.5 - 3 Hours* Allow 10 minutes for each team to present including judges' questions, plus 3-5 minutes transition time between teams for judges to score.
    Teams cannot watch other presentations.
    Judges Deliberations 30-45 Mins Potential for networking event, casual dinner or free time for teams while they are not presenting/during deliberations.
    Announce Campus Semi-Finalist Winners & Closing 15 Mins Announcement of the campus Round 1 Challenge winners that will move on to the virtual, national Semi-Final Round.
