Kevin Murray is the Vice President of Supply Chain at RED GOLD. He has more than 26 years of Operational and Supply Chain leadership experience in both Canada and the US. RED GOLD, America’s largest family owned canned tomato manufacturer, partners with family farms across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio to sustainably produce premium quality canned tomatoes, ketchup, salsa, juices, sauces and other tomato-based products for the retail, foodservice, private brand, and club channels of distribution within the US and exports to 16 countries. The Red Gold family of consumer brands includes Red Gold, Redpack, Tuttorosso and Sacramento. Exceptional quality and operational excellence are the shared values that contribute to the employee-created mission statement: "To produce the freshest, best tasting tomato products in the world." Prior to RED GOLD, Kevin held senior level positions within subsidiaries of George Weston Limited. A $44B public company where he started out as a forklift driver at a pie plant in Nova Scotia, Canada and diligently worked his way through the ranks of management and became a leader in Production Operations and Supply Chain for a company that produced private label brands and well-known brands such as Thomas’ English Muffins, Thomas’ Bagels, Boboli, Entenmann’s and Girl Scout Cookies. Kevin’s Supply Chain responsibilities at RED GOLD, INC include: Network Design, Customer Service, Label Development and Procurement, Logistics (Rail, Intermodal & OTR), Inventory and Planning, Deductions, Billing, Pricing, Invoicing, Capacity Planning, Master Production Planning, Shuttles & Dedicated Fleet, Pallets, Demand Planning, Product Life Cycle Management, Forward Warehousing & Replenishment, Overflow Warehousing, >1 million Sqft Distribution Center and Plant Warehouse Operations. He serves on the Logistics Council of Conexus Indiana, is an Elder serving on the Grace Church Governing Board and volunteers at several community nonprofit organizations within Central Indiana. He loves cycling and play ice hockey. Kevin and his wife Debbie have three children and a dog named Scruffy.
