Director of the Jane Brock Wilson Women in Management Center
Candice Lange joined Krannert in July as the Director of the Jane Brock-Wilson Women in Management Center. Previously, she was president of Lange Advisors, a consulting and executive coaching firm.
Before launching her consulting practice, Candi was Director of Workforce Partnering at Eli Lilly and Company, where she built the company’s work-life initiative and led its diversity strategy and the extension of the Lilly corporate brand into its people practices. Under her leadership, Lilly achieved national recognition on a number of annual lists, including the Fortune 100 Best Places to Work in America and the Working Mother 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers.
Candi has served in a number of leadership roles in the community. She was a member of the national advisory board for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and is a past president of its Indiana chapter. She was the founding co-chair of the greater Indianapolis United Way Success-by-Six initiative and was on the steering committee for the Boston College Work-Life Roundtable. In 1998, Candi served as an advisor to a White House Working Group on Child Care, chaired by treasury secretary Robert Rubin. She has served on a number of advisory boards, including Bright Horizons Inc. and Indianapolis Woman magazine. She is a past president of the board of directors for St. Mary’s Child Center, a preschool and intervention center for young children at risk due to extreme poverty. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Purdue University Center for Families. Honors and awards include the Indiana Child Care Champion Award and Friend of Purdue.
Candi holds a degree in pharmacy from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University.
