The Krannert Finance Club strives to facilitate the further understanding of global finance and business issues to assist in the development of future business leaders.  The club is dedicated to providing its members networking opportunities with students, faculty, alumni, and business leaders.
We will accomplish this vision by sponsoring distinguished guest speakers, attending case competitions and a Chicago financial district trip, initiating a creative fundraising event, and social events.  Students will also have a multitude of leadership opportunities within the club.

On October 3, 2008, the Krannert Finance Club finished a very respectable 4th behind: Harvard, Darden and MIT at the prestigious National Energy Finance Challenge in Austin, TX.  Congratulations to our team members: Eric Tracy, Mayu Matsumoto, Manatar Sitohang, Tim Gold and Geoff Gauthier.

Krannert Finance Club places 1st in the KGSA Interclub Case Competition.  Congratulations to our team members: Steve Hentges, Steve Lund, Allen Chen, Bilal Shahid and Prentice Stovall.

Krannert Finance Club places 3rd in the McCombs Energy Finance Case Competition at University of Texas, Austin.  Congratulations to: Dan Brown, Li-Kang (Silicon) Shih, Jirasee (Tob) Kasuwan, and Geoff Gauthier.
