History of the HBSA


1986

The organization was created as AHM, Association of Hispanics Managers.

2000

Gabino Martinez joined the organization as the president. He changed the name to HBSA, Hispanic Business Student Association.

2003

In the fall, Diego Salem, Gonzalo del Rio, Alfredo Azpurua and Christian Roberts attempted to reactivate the organization.

2008

After much provision, the association is finally ready to open a base for Hispanic Purdue students once again.
