"Meet an Entrepreneur" Series #2
5:30:00 PM @ Rawls Hall 2077
Our second guest this year is Mr. Kaleil Isaza Tuzman (http://kaleil.com/), President and Managing Partner of Recognition Group (www.recognitiongroup.com/). Mr. Tuzman is famous as a co-founder and CEO of GovWorks Inc., a internet service company and pioneer in e-government field. His story in founding and emerging GovWorks was filmed in the documentary movie, “Startup.com.”
Mr. Tuzman showed us his deep insights in entrepreneurship and heartful comments on our questions.
Here are some of his messages:
Two common qualities in successful entrepreneurs (from Mr. Tuzman’s research through interviews with 100 entrepreneurs)
1) Fundamentally feeling or being different. It also means that they are confident in their difference, they are very honest and embracing their difference.
2) Know themselves, or being completely honest about themselves. E.g. Bill Gates knows well that he is not a best marketer, Richard Branson knows well that he is not good at controlling financial issues.
Honesty is fundamental quality in both points above, honest for what they feel and honest for how they are.

Love your business, customers and employees
