 Purdue Econ Club (PEC)

Officers

The designations of offices within the organization are thus: President, Treasurer, Vice President of Alumni Relations, Vice President of Faculty Relations, Vice President of Academics, and Vice President of Information Coordination.  Members must meet the requirement for membership at the first meeting of each semester to run for an office. Officers are elected by an iteration in which rounds of voting for each of the positions will/could take place.  Each round the candidate(s) with the least number of votes will remove themselves from the race.  In the event of a tie in the last round of voting, then the elected officers will choose the winner.  An individual may nominate themselves for an office or be nominated by another member and individuals may remove themselves from consideration for an office.  The term of office for all positions is one semester and elections will take place during the spring and fall semesters.  An individual can hold no more than one office at a time.

The faculty advisor for the organization may hold the position as long as they remain a member of the faculty at Purdue University.  He/She will be chosen from a list of prospective candidates by the officers of the club and upon acceptance will become the acting faculty advisor.
