 SMC Committees

Each SMC member serves on at least one committee. Below are descriptions of the different committees and some activities that they are responsible for.

B.F.D.L.F.

Barbara G. Doster Leadership Forum
The Barbara G. Doster Leadership Forum is an off-campus retreat that provides opportunities to improve leadership skills for 100 top Krannert undergraduate students selected to attend. Continuing its tradition, the biennial event brings students, corporate representatives, and sponsors together to explore and improve students’ skills in communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, etiquette, creativity, and motivation. A committee assembles the program and host the event each year downtown Indianapolis. Each day includes a different featured speaker as well as workshops, discussions, team-building exercises, and sessions relating to the forum’s goals.
