The Society of Minority Managers (SMM) is an organization for students at Purdue University with an interest in business and management.  SMM focuses on preparing members for corporate America and entrepreneurship through trainings, conferences, guest speakers, and workshops that build and promote academic success, leadership, networking, and professional development.  The mission of SMM is to serve the broad educational needs of minority students by:

    •  Establishing effective lines of communication between minority business students, business
        professionals, and industry-leading, innovative companies within corporate America.

    •  Promoting professionalism and academic excellence amongst minority business students.

    •  Assisting the Krannert School of Management in the recruitment of minority students.
