Staff Biographies
Roger C. Stewart, Director, Krannert Professional Development Center
Roger is also an adjunct professor in the Krannert MBA program. He began teaching in West Lafayette in 2005. Roger has also taught International Finance in Purdue's German Executive Master's program in Hannover, Germany. He has been named a distinguished teacher, enjoys advising students on career planning, and has lectured numerous times on campus. In 2004, Roger retired from Procter & Gamble, after thirty years of service, as the Vice President of Global Treasury. Over his career, Roger developed the financing in Central and Eastern Europe, right after the Berlin Wall fell. He managed financing and interest rate risk, through numerous Latin America crises and oversaw the financing of P&G's largest Chinese business. Before joining the Treasury organization in 1987, he had experience in Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, Forecasting, etc. in Procter & Gamble's Paper, Health Care, Beauty Care, and Beverage organizations. He is Purdue alum with a B.S. in Biology in 1971 and an MSIA from Krannert in 1974.
Jayne Flinn, Associate Director, Krannert Professional Development Center
Jayne is thrilled to be on board with Krannert Professional Development Center, and will be working to continually expand or create partnerships with corporations nationwide and globally who are seeking high level MBA, MSHRM, MSF, MSA or MSIA candidates. She has worked in the arena of Business Development and Management for the past 20 years working for organizations such as: The Center For Children's Services in Illinois, Wabash Center and Homecare by Design in Lafayette, and served Manpower Inc. for 5 years as a Staffing Specialist, Business Development Specialist, and Regional Sales Executive.Jayne and her husband Randy live in Brookston and have three children.Jayne graduated from Purdue in 1983 with a B.A. in Humanties, Social Science and Education and is proud to be representing her alma mater.
Jill Mullens, Assistant Director, Krannert Professional Development Center
Jill has a BS degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue. She worked in both operations and human resources for Crystal Food Services in Indianapolis for five years. While she was attending the MBA program at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business on the Indianapolis Campus, Jill was a Recruiter for Waddell and Reed Financial Services. She graduated in May 2009 and joined the GCS staff in July to promote networking skills, provide career counseling and assist students with their career management account.
Craig Hanson, Assistant Director, Krannert Professional Development Center
Craig works jointly with both the graduate and undergraduate career services organizations. His focus areas include outreach, principally on firms wanting to hire both international and domestic students, and providing career counseling for graduate students.
Craig has a strong business background for his role, with over thirty years of corporate experience at Clorox, Kimberly-Clark, and Gold Hong Ye Paper. During his twenty-four years at K-C his roles included quality management, market research, and corporate innovation. He also was a K-C campus recruiting leader at Purdue for sixteen years. Most recently, he was a technical R&D consultant for Gold Hong Ye Paper in Suzhou, China.
Craig has a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue and an MBA from Krannert. He's a former member of the Purdue swimming team, participated in the Water Polo Club, and was a residence hall counselor. In addition to an enjoyable professional career, he is a diehard Boilermaker, understands the Purdue culture, and is anxious to be a major advocate for Krannert students.
Joy Mabbitt, Recruiting Manager, Krannert Professional Development Center
Joy is a native of Tippecanoe County and has been familiar with the Purdue Campus since her middle school days spent in the Undergrad Library. Prior to joining Purdue's Department of Chemistry in 1998, she held various positions in banking and served as an administrative assistant in manufacturing. Joy joined Krannert Graduate Career Services in June of 2003 and has been Recruiting Manager since 2005. Her leisure time is spent with family, her dogs and sewing.
Christ Luebbe, Recruiting Assistant, Krannert Professional Development Center
Chris graduated from the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University in 2002. He began his career working in the blood banking industry for the American Red Cross in Burlington, Vermont. After one year as a lab assistant Chris was promoted to the team leader with eight employees directly under him. He spent five years in that role participating in new employee hiring and training in the heavily regulated blood banking industry. In 2008, Chris left his position with the American Red Cross to move back to the Midwest with his family. He has been with the Career Services office at Krannert since May 2009 assisting with resume review, statistic reporting and employer recruiting.
