Professor Wilson conducts research and teaches in the areas of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Her research focuses on three areas including work and family processes, affect, and leadership. In her research, Kelly examines the spillover and conflict of various attitudes, feelings and behaviors between individuals’ work and family domains. In addition, Kelly also conducts research examining the impact of leader-member exchange on leaders as well as leader behaviors and effectiveness.
Her research has been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology and Academy of Management Journal. Professor Wilson received her Ph.D. in organizational behavior and human resource management from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. She was the recipient of the 2009 SIOP Lee Hakel Graduate Student Scholarship for her dissertation work.
