Professor Alge’s research focuses on a) technology’s impact on individual and group attitudes and behaviors on the job, and b) employer/employee rights (e.g., privacy and justice). His most recent work focuses on remote/distance leadership, virtual team
collaboration, and the ethical implications of electronic monitoring policies and practices. Recipient of the Jay N. Ross Young Faculty Scholar Award for 2003-2004 and the Krannert Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award for 2005, Professor Alge has published
in top-tier outlets in the field of organizational behavior and human resources.
