The director of development is responsible for planning and implementing all strategies designed to secure private gift support for the School. This includes relationship development and direct solicitation of alumni, friends, corporations and foundations to support such things as undergraduate scholarships, both annual and endowed; graduate fellowships; professorships and chairs; and capital facilities’ enhancement and improvement.

Prior to joining the development team at the Krannert School, Jim served in a similar role for three years with the School of Civil Engineering at Purdue. In 17 of his more than 20 years as a development professional, Jim has served higher education institutions including Iowa State University, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and St. Norbert College.
