| Professional Bio: Professor Naknoi’s research fields are international macroeconomics and economic history. Her current research topics are impacts of trade and exchange rate policy on international business cycles; effects of capital inflows on economic growth; and historical developments of international trade. Her recent publications are "The Marginal Product of Capital, Capital Flows and Convergence," American Economic Review Papers & Proceedings (2010) and "Real Exchange Rate Fluctuations, Endogenous Tradability and Exchange Rate Regimes," Journal of Monetary Economics (2008).
She held a visiting scholar position at the International Monetary Fund and the Asian Development Bank Institute. She is a research associate at the Centers for International Price Research at Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the American Economic Association, the Society of Economic Dynamics, and the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession.
