Tony Tong is Professor of Strategic Management at the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University. His current research focuses on the intersection between corporate strategy and innovation, studying topics such as M&As, multinational firms, corporate
innovation (patents, IPRs), and technology entrepreneurship. He has published widely in leading academic journals, and his research has been honored with many awards in the profession. He has been invited to present his work at many business schools and organizations
around the world. His research is supported by many organizations, including the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His teaching focuses on strategic management, global strategy, and
technology and innovation strategy. His teaching has won several awards and recognitions from institutions including Purdue University, University of Colorado Boulder, and The Ohio State University.
