Tom Sanger is Director of Intel Corporation’s Supply Chain Transformation. He is responsible for enabling the corporate supply chain strategy and action plan required to support its future business models.

Intel Corporation is a Fortune-500 company and leader in technology and innovation. Intel’s corporate strategy is to invent and bring about amazing experiences through the capability of the cloud, the ubiquity of the Internet of Things, the latest advances in memory and programmable solutions, and the promise of the always-on-5G connected network.  The company is transforming from a processor company to one that creates amazing experiences and solutions.  As the company transforms its product offerings and services, the supply chain must transform to support the new business models.

Tom is responsible for developing & implementing supply chains that enable new sales methods, build and sourcing strategies, quality and traceability needs, as well as cutting edge information integration to manage the complexity of a 10nm and shrinking manufacturing process.  The supply chains must drive the right balance of service level and cost across Intel’s multiple business units.  Additionally, his organization directs strategic IT supply chain investments and is responsible for the integration of mergers and acquisitions into the Intel’s fulfillment landscape.

Joining Intel in 1996, Tom has driven major initiatives at Intel which included improving the speed of response to customer supply requests, improving order quality, and re-engineering Intel’s regional fulfillment capabilities.  Tom has held positions in Sales and Marketing Operations, IT, Business Process Re-engineering, & Supply Planning Operations.  He has also served externally as a Member of the RosettaNet Board of Governors & the Chair of Electronic Components Council.
