Carlos is a second year MBA and MEM student at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where his studies center on marketing management, human-centered design and management of organizations. At Kellogg, Carlos serves as the Senior Vice-President of the Marketing Club, Associate Director of Technology for the Kellogg Student Association and Director of Marketing for the Kellogg Black Management Association Conference.
After receiving his BS from Krannert in 2008, Carlos spent four years in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs in New York, overseeing investment and wealth strategies for high net worth ($20MM+) individuals. After deciding to change career trajectory and move into the consumer Hi-Tech space, Carlos spent a year working at Apple in both New York and the Chicagoland area. Most recently, Carlos was an associate at Groupon in Palo Alto, CA, working on marketing and global strategy for the Groupon mobile business.
While at Purdue, Carlos was active within the Cornell A. Bell Business Opportunity Program (BOP), The Society of Minority Managers, The Krannert School of Management Ambassadors and Mortar Board.
