Breck F. Hanson joined Associated Bank in September 2010 as executive vice president, head of commercial real estate. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing and growing Associated Bank’s commercial real estate presence in the Midwest.  In late 2014 Mr. Hanson took on the additional responsibilities of Chicago Market President and Director of Corporate Banking in Chicago. 

Mr. Hanson brings more than 30 years of experience in the banking and commercial real estate industries to Associated Bank. He served as regional real estate executive at Bank of America, where he oversaw all real estate transactions in the Midwest. For 20 years previously, Mr. Hanson served as executive vice president at LaSalle Bank, where he managed a national commercial real estate lending program.

Mr. Hanson holds an MBA in Marketing from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University. He serves on the board of directors at the Chicago Architecture Foundation and is President of Board of Trustees for Rainbows (for All God’s Children). Mr. Hanson is also on the Dean’s Advisory Council at Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, the Board of Advisors for Graaskamp School of Real Estate at University of Wisconsin, the Advisory Board of the Illinois PGA Foundation and the Leadership Advisory Council of the Willow Creek Church of Chicago.
