Tushar Trivedi

Tushar earned his B.S. in Management from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management, and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area (Silicon Valley). He continues his relationship with Purdue through his active membership as the President of the Purdue Alumni Association of San Francisco.

In January 2006, Tushar relocated to Mountain View, California, to join Google as a Business Analyst. While his responsibilities have changed throughout his tenure at the company, part of his role includes building data models for a variety of business issues. Additionally, he is involved in the development, implementation and communication of Google's policies and systems to support a wide variety of programs. He is proud to be a part of Google's success story - the company has nearly doubled in sales in the last year.

Tushar came to Purdue from Walnut, California (a suburb outside Los Angeles). During his time at Purdue, he was involved in many organizations on campus, including the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, Purdue Finance Organization, and the Purdue Marketing Association. He also worked two part-time jobs, one of which was in the Accounting Department at the Purdue Memorial Union.

While he kept himself busy through school, he actively sought out internships that would provide him with a wide breadth of experiences. His first internship was at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Los Angeles, where he worked as a Sales & Marketing Management Trainee. He spent the following summer at Ford Motor Company's corporate headquarters in Detroit, working in Strategy, Marketing, and Business Development. After having focused on the auto industry, he decided to shift gears and learn more about a number of industries, including Biotechnology, Industrial Goods, and High Technology. To that end, he worked in Corporate Finance at Amgen Inc., Technical Marketing and Product Support for Caterpillar Inc., and as a Global Business Analyst at Broadcom Corporation, a multi-billion dollar technology company based in Orange County, California.

In addition to his professional achievements, he is also an active member of the community. He helped labor the salvation of disadvantaged youth and families in Gujarat, India, (through educational tutoring, mentorship, and other physical means). He recently has been involved in academic tutoring and coaching tennis to inner-city youths surrounding the San Francisco Bay Area. An avid member of the United States Tennis Association, Tushar is a ranked tennis player in California.

Tushar is the son of Rohit and Jayshree Trivedi, an Industrial Engineer and Registered Renal Dietitian. He has one younger brother, Ashish, who is a recent graduate of UCLA, who now works as a Clinical Research Associate at Baxter International. Tushar is grateful to his family, and credits them for being a major component to his success.
