Jon Van Norman

Major: Accounting & Management
Minor: Analytical Consulting & MIS

 Jon Van Norman is currently a senior in the Krannert School of Management and is from Rochester, Minnesota.  Jon is pursuing a degree in Accounting and Management with concentrations in Analytical Consulting and Management Information Systems.  Jon also spent a spring semester studying abroad in London studying international affairs, marketing and economics throughout the European Union. 

Upon completion of his Management and Accounting degrees, Jon will be eligible to sit and looks to become a Certified Public Accountant.  On campus, Jon has been involved with a number of organizations such as SMEF, Grand Prix Foundation, Purdue Yearbook, and the Purdue Sailing Team.  He is also a Teaching Assistant for a Computer Science course which teaches students advanced features of Microsoft Office.

Aside from Purdue, Jon enjoys camping, skiing, backpacking, golfing, listening to music, and playing the guitar.  During the past summer, Jon worked for Target helping design product presentation to generate higher sales and helped out whereever else needed. During the Summear of 2008, Jon worked as a finance summer student at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota auditing their research assets.  Jon is currently seeking Full-time offers for Summer of 2010, which will utilize his personal strengths and ambitions.
