 Undergraduate 2010-10 Spring Career Fair Registration

Welcome to the recruiting information and fair participation step in the registration process. The following information, at least to the students and fair planning committee, is the most important because it will be used to register your company for our career fair and help us market your recruiting needs to our students. Please fill out the following information as completely and accurately as possible. Call our Career Services office (765) 494-1688 if you need to make any changes to your registration or if you have any questions.  

Any company registration information received after 5 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2010 will not be included in the printed material; however, the information will be included on the SMEF website and emailed to our students.

NOTE: West Lafayette is now on Eastern Daylight Savings time


We will participate in the 2010-10 Spring Career Fair, Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Our registration fee ($550) includes the informal social, recruiter luncheon, and a 3' x 6' table (max of 4 reps per registration) at the Career Fair. You receive a $100 discount if you attended our fall 09 fair.
We plan to bring 5-8 reps and require an additional table.  An additional registration fee will be assessed - please email the names of the additional reps to Judy Rife (jlrife@purdue.edu)

We will require auxiliary aids and services because of a disability. (SMEF will contact you concerning these needs.)

May we publish a graphic of your logo in an informational booklet that we provide to students on the day of the fair? If so, we will acquire your logo from your web site (i.e., download the graphic file) or please send your logo to us as a graphic file (JPG or GIF) e-mail attachment (career@purdue.edu).

Company Presentations (Optional) - 11:30 a.m. - 5:20 p.m. in Stewart Center (Rooms TBA)

We would like to do a company presentation!
  • Select at least 2-3 available times - your presentation time will be confirmed 3 to 4 weeks before the fair
  • We will provide a computer and an LCD projector in each room
  • Presentation space is limited

11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.
12:30 p.m. - 1:20 p.m.

1:30 p.m. - 2:20 p.m.


2:30 p.m. - 3:20 p.m.
3:30 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.

4:30 p.m. - 5:20 p.m.

We prefer to do our presentation in the evening after the fair (Wednesday, January 27). We plan to have a few time slots available between 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m

Student Interviews - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Stewart Center (rooms to be determined)

We plan to conduct interviews the day after the fair

  • You will receive an interview sign-up sheet when you arrive the day of the fair
If you are not interviewing on the 28th, please let us know if you have other plans.
We have an interview date scheduled with the CCO or Krannert Career Services

We plan to schedule on-campus interviews later in the semester

  • Contact Krannert Undergraduate Career Services (765.494.1688) or the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO @ 765.494.3981) if you need to set up an interview date later in the semester.
