Accounting and Management with Finance
Stephen Joest is currently a senior in the Krannert School of Management and is originally from Carmel, IN. He is pursuing a double major in Accounting and Management with a concentration in Finance. He has internship experience working a busy season in the audit department of Indianapolis based public accounting firm Katz, Sapper & Miller and working in the office of a Certified Financial Planner with MetLife. Following graduation, Stephen plans to begin his career in public accounting and work toward obtaining his CPA designation.
During his time at Purdue, Stephen has been involved with many organizations on campus. In addition to serving on the Company Relations Committee with SMEF, he has served as a Host and Promotional Officer with the Purdue University Old Masters program, a Team Supervisor, Move-in Coordinator, and Team Leader with the Boiler Gold Rush new student orientation program, and as a member of the Morale Committee with Purdue University Dance Marathon. He also serves as a tutor for the Purdue University Athletic Department and was selected as a member of the 2013 Homecoming Court at Purdue.
Outside of the classroom, Stephen enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, cheering on the Colts and Pacers, and traveling around the country.
