Where can I send my company's exhibits?

All company exhibits can be sent two weeks prior to the event to:

How do I have the exhibit materials returned to my company?

SMEF does not cover the cost of material shipment, however we will collect your displays and transport them to the necessary carrier.

Wireless Access

Most buildings at Purdue are equipped for wireless computing. However, unlike many cafes, libraries, airports, etc., Purdue wireless is not an "open" system. Purdue offers two systems, Purdue AirLink (PAL) and Purdue AirLink 2.0 (PAL2.0). Your hardware and software combination will determine which one you use. You must configure your laptop to strict standards and use login credentials which will be valid for the day(s) of your visit.

Ideally, you should configure your laptop before coming to Purdue. In some cases, you may need assistance from your organization's technical support group. If your computer is "locked-down" by your technical support, we cannot make changes for you. If you have not pre-configured your computer, it may not be possible for you to connect to the Purdue wireless networks.

Please follow the instructions for configuring your laptop. Do not "Request PAL Guest Account". Your Guest Account will be issued at check-in once it is confirmed that your computer is properly configured. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to login to Purdue's wireless system, however the chances of success are much greater if you have pre-configured your equipment.

How can I register for the next job fair?

The primary contact person for your organization will receive an email when the registration for the next fair is open. This usually occurs in mid April and October. Email Erik Props if you would like to be added as a contact.

What does my registration fee pay for?

The registration fee covers: One 3' X 6' table (max. of 4 reps per table), recruiter luncheon, interviewing rooms, a student/recruiter social on the evening before the forum, and the opportunity to give a company presentation the day before the fair.  

Will I receive a refund if I cancel my registration?

  • Before 5 p.m. Friday, January 11th - 100%
  • January 12th - January 27th - 75%
  • On or after January 28th - 0%
