Dr. Chaturvedi is actively involved with Purdue's Center for Education and Research on Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS) on information security research and education.

Dr. Chaturvedi helped establish Purdue's Center for Computational Image Analysis and Visualization as a charter member.

Dr. Chaturvedi was a co-PI on an NSF Proposal entitled, "Information Generation, Transmission, and Use in Complex Interdependent Markets and Organizations." This proposal involved collaboration between fifteen faculty members from six different departments and schools.

Dr. Chaturvedi was a co-PI on a ONR Proposal entitled, "Semantic Consistency and Heterogeneous Information Systems." This proposal involved collaboration between five faculty members from Purdue and Columbia University.
